Blackened White Bass

  • PurePac White Bass
  • 1 Cup Paprika
  • 1/4 Cup Chili Spice
  • 1 TBSP Cumin
  • 2 TSP Curry Powder
  • 1 TSP Black Pepper
  • 1 TSP Salt
  • 1 TSP Garlic Powder
  • 1 Pinch Thyme
  • 1 Pinch Dill Weed
  • 1 TSP Brown Sugar
  • Vegetable Oil


  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl
  • Rinse and pat White Bass dry with paper towel
  • Press fish into season mixture on both sides
  • Add 10oz vegetable oil to pan
  • Heat to medium high (oil should almost be smoking)
  • Place fish in pan and cook 2-3 minutes
  • Turn and continue to cook for 5-6 minutes


Serve with fresh lemon and caesar salad.
