BBQ Bacon Wrapped Walleye

  • PurePac Walleye
  • 3 Slices Bacon
  • 3 TBSP BBQ Sauce
  • Metal or Bamboo Skewers


  • Preheat BBQ and spray grates with vegetable oil
  • Rinse Walleye and pat dry on paper towel
  • Remove skin from fish and cut into 3 long strips
  • Wrap each strip into a tight roll
  • Wrap bacon around each roll
  • Skewer fish rolls onto skewers and place on BBQ
  • Grill for 5 minutes on each side
  • Brush with your favourite BBQ sauce and grill for 1-2 minutes


Serve with roasted potatoes and local corn on the cob.
